WELCOME TO THE COAST OF THE GODS!
Our excursions take place along the "Coast of the Gods," which is the name by which the stretch of coastline in the southern Tyrrhenian Sea has been christened, stretching from Pizzo Calabro to Nicotera, falling entirely within the province of Vibo Valentia.
..It is also the part of the coastline that bounds the so-called horn of Calabria, a stretch that has about 55 km of coastline presenting a varied morphology. In fact, it presents long white beaches, with a succession of jagged rocks creating small coves that can only be reached on foot or by boat.
Tropea is considered the “Pearl of the Tyrrhenian” notably for it’s admirable beauty. Following along the coastline is Capo Vaticano a beautiful viewpoint and attraction for many tourists to witness the Aeolian Islands in Sicily.
Finally, it is also called "The Beautiful Coast" for the striking views with the Aeolian Islands only 32 nautical miles away. Starting from the north, the municipalities that fall on this stretch of coast are: Pizzo Calabro, Vibo Valentia, Briatico, Zambrone, Parghelia, Tropea, Ricadi, Joppolo and Nicotera.
Tropea the pearl of the Tyrrhenian Sea won the Italian competition for the most beautiful town in Italy ‘Borgo dei Borghi 2021’!
The renowned seaside town is in the province of Vibo Valentia conquered the competition due to it’s rich history and traditions. This was featured on the popular Italian TV channel Rai 3.
Tropea old town is situated on a cliffside that faces the crystal-clear waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
The most famous feature of Tropea is the small island that holds the Sanctuary of Santa Maria.

Excursion 'of the Cape'
Vatican Cape
In this excursion we will take you to visit the beautiful beaches of Tropea, Santa Domenica and Capo Vaticano, the most renowned locations on the “Costa degli Dei.” Your journey will begin from the Port of Tropea in the southern direction of the coastline. We will immediately stop to admire the beauty of Tropea old town, the famous beaches that surround the “Santa Maria Dell’Isola”. Continiung along the journey we will reach the ‘Rock of Riaci’, here you are able swim through the glistening grotto’s and witness the beauty under water with snorkels. For all lovers of mystery and underwater legends, we will next take you to the ancient Roman port of Formicoli, which has now become home to many marine species.
We will then continue our adventure until we reach Capo Vaticano, to discover the enchanting and unique white coves reachable only by sea, set among granite rocks and washed by an emerald sea. Here you can relax on board admiring the beauty of our land and enjoy a traditional Calabrian aperitif. Finally, fulfilled and happy, with indelible images in our eyes and hearts we will return to the port of Tropea to conclude our excursion.
Excursion 'Of the Sirens'
On this excursion we will be heading north along the coastline to visit Parghelia, Briatico and Zambrone.
We will depart from the Port of Tropea and navigating we will go to discover the beautiful and wild cove of “Vardanello” and the lush beach of “Michelino,” we will then head to the majestic “Scoglio della Pizzuta,” which rises in front of an ancient granite quarry in the municipality of Parghelia, from the Greek “Para lia” City facing the sun. The first stop will be at a small bay reachable only by sea called the Tonnara from its ancient history. We will later resume the journey until we reach the Bay of Sirens, where we will reach the Galea Rock, a place that gives unique emotions. With an easy swim we will be able to reach the pools located inside the reef, and we will snorkel passing from one pool to another among starfish, anemones, crabs, and more. Finally, on the way home, we will stop in front of the beach called “Diver’s Paradise,” and it is here in this enchanted place that we will enjoy an aperitif of typical Calabrian products. to finish off your journey before our return to the Port of Tropea.
Sunset Aperitif
Witness the most beautiful sunset on the water with your partner or a group of friends. On this excursion we will leave from the Port of Tropea and visit the blue grotto located in Riaci. Here you will be able to snorkel through the spectacular grotto and witness the local marine life. Following on we will visit the “Lovers Cave” that will be coloured with the shades of the sun setting, where you will be able to snorkel through one of the most beautiful coves along the Costa degli Dei coastline. Upon your return you will be able to enjoy the sunset along with a delicious aperitif and soothing music to enjoy the wonders of Tropea.
